Rabies basics for teachers

Hello, I'm Aadile, a primary school teacher from Tanzania.

Welcome to this IoGT section about rabies and how we can protect our students and communities against the disease.

As teachers, we have a responsibility to educate and encourage students, their parents, and caregivers to take actions that protect themselves and the community.

By learning more about rabies, you'll be able to teach your students and their families about how rabies spreads, how to identify it, and how to prevent and stop its spread. You'll also be equipped to respond effectively to incidents involving a sick dog or a dog bite.

By learning and encouraging preventive behaviours, teachers can help save lives.
