How can we stop Rabies from spreading?
You have now learned about rabies, how it spreads, and what to do if you think you might be infected. Congratulations!
Now that we know the basics, I will teach you how to protect ourselves and our communities from rabies. Here are three main things you can do:
- Learn to spot a dog with rabies and tell an adult.
- Be kind and safe when you are around dogs.
- Ask your parents and others to vaccinate their dogs against rabies as soon as possible.
If we all do these things, we can help create a community free of rabies and make sure no one gets sick or dies from it.
